It’s Okay to Pamper Yoursef

I admit it, I’ve indulged in pampering myself over the years. I’ve gotten massages, head and facial shaves, manicures, and pedicures. Pedicures are the best, but I’ll save that for a future post. We are so accustomed to taking care of our spouses, family members, staff members, students, and school community that we neglect to sufficiently take care of ourselves. I found some white space time recently in the middle of a non-school day. Luckily, we have a Jacuzzi tub in our master bathroom that I occasionally enjoy. I filled the tub with warm water, added bubble bath and essential oils, dimmed the lights, turned on Sirius XM Radio to the Spa channel, activated the Jacuzzi jets and white spaced it for 30 minutes. It was so peaceful and calmimg that I was even relaxed for my dentist appointment that followed and those who know me well know that is not easy! You might not have a Jacuzzi tub but I’m sure you have a bathtub you can fill with warm water, bubbles, and essential oils, listen to your favorite music and give yourself 30 minutes of white space time. You deserve to pamper yourself.
